The project includes full depth reclamation and repaving of the existing 2-inch pavement over 4" reclaimed gravel sections on the following City roadway segments: Base Bid 1. Flintwood Street from Main Street to 126th Lane 2. 126th Avenue from Flintwood Street to cul-de-sac 3. 126th Lane from cul-de-sac to 126th Avenue 4. 126th Avenue from Alder Street to cul-de-sac 5. 125th Lane from University Avenue to cul-de-sac 6. Alder Street from 125th Lane to 126th Lane 7. 126th Lane from Alder Street to University Avenue Alternate Bid 1. Xeon Boulevard from Northdale Boulevard to Xeon Street 2. Avocet Circle from Xeon Boulevard to cul-de-sac 3. Zilla Street from Xeon Boulevard to cul-de-sac 4. Yellow Pine Street from Xeon Boulevard to cul-de-sac The Contractor shall be given until June 26, 2025 (Final Completion) to complete all work on this project. Final completion is defined as all paving work completed. The Contractor shall not work on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays. No work shall begin prior to 7:00 a.m. on any day, which includes the movement or transport of equipment and materials to or from the project area. Work shall be completed by 10:00 p.m. in accordance with local ordinance, and so as not to cause any unreasonable nuisance to affected residents. Paving shall not begin until 7:30 a.m. to allow residents and business employee's reasonable opportunity to remove their vehicles from the work area. Under emergency conditions, these limitations may be waived by the consent of the Engineer in conjunction with qualified local authority. Failure to complete the work as specified shall subject the Contractor to liquidated damages as provided for in Section 29 of the General Conditions. The Contractor is required to continuously pursue work to completion to minimize inconvenience to property owners and businesses.
