MCEC Various Inpatient Unit Refresh Projects Selection of Executive Architect The University of California San Diego Health ("UC San Diego" or "University") systems requests a written response to this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") for selecting an Executive Architect for the following projects: MCEC ET 5th Fl Inpatient Unit Refresh This project consists of developing, analyzing and repairing the healthcare facility and patient care areas. This work involves the maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements of East Campus Medical Center ("East Campus"), formerly Alvarado Hospital Medical Center, focusing on patient care areas to enhance aesthetic experience and functionality. The goal is to modernize the space to enhance patients and staff experience while creating a patient-centered environment that aligns with healthcare industry standards. The project will be subject to the health/university administrative approval process. MCEC ET 5th Fl Inpatient Unit Refresh - Estimated construction cost is $8,100,000 The University is committed to promoting and increasing participation of small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs), subject to any and all applicable obligations under state and federal law, and University policies.
