Reference Number 0000374439 Job Location: Centennial, Colorado Project Description: The work generally consists of slurry seal treatment of suburban residential roadways and other City owned facilities as shown and described on the Project Maps and Street Listing including; cleaning, surface preparation to receive the surface treatment, removal of all weeds or other vegetation within the roadway section, application of crack seal, Hot-mix asphalt patching, slurry seal, removal of excess cover aggregate, final clean-up and replacement of pavement markings, as necessary. Question Deadline 02/11/2025 at 11:59 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes The City may extend the Contract with the contractor chosen by the City for up to four (4) additional one-year terms as described in Section 333 of the Special Conditions. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on an approved form in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bid price, made payable to the City of Centennial, which shall be considered as liquidated damages and shall be forfeited to the City if said Bid is accepted and the Bidder fails to execute the Contract within ten (10) calendar days after the Award by the City. The Bid Bond will be submitted in a separate electronic file. Each Bid must also be accompanied by a completed Questionnaire. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish, as part of the Contract, insurance certificates in the amount specified in the General Conditions, a Performance, Payment, Maintenance and Warranty Bond in an amount equal to one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, said bond to be issued by a responsible corporate surety approved by the City, and which shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Construction Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor, and protect and save harmless the City from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the Contractor. Each Bid shall be made on the Bid Form provided in the bid packet and no Bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of ninety (90) days from and after the date set for opening of bids. The City reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities and to reject any or all Bids. Capitalized terms not defined in the Instruction to Bidders have the meaning assigned in the General Conditions.
