The Inverness Water & Sanitation District requests formal bids for the Inverness Water and Sanitation District ("Inverness Water" or "District") and the Arapahoe Water and Wastewater Authority ("ACWWA") Regional Emergency Connections Project. The project contemplated consists of furnishing and installing three (3) identical 8'- 4" x 13' 10" underground concrete vaults at three different locations within a three (2) mile radius from the intersection of E. Broncos Parkway and S. Potomac St. Each vault will include miscellaneous 8" DIP piping, Endress Hauser flow meter, two CLA-VAL flow control valves, miscellaneous gauges, taps, pipe supports and restraints, venting materials and other related appurtenances. Metering equipment, electronics, but not limited to power supply, will be provided by others. Each vault will require two taps each to connect to two separate water systems. A total of approximately 800 linear feet of 12-inch C900 PVC - DR-13 water line will be needed to connect the vaults to the distribution systems. The exact project details are contained in the Contract Documents. Each Proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the District, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the contract, as prescribed in the Contract Documents. Bidders shall submit all questions in writing to the District's Engineer no later than 3:00 pm, February 28th, 2025. Questions received after this time will be addressed at the discretion of the District. The District's preferred method of written communication is via electronic mail, however fax or hardcopy communications will be accepted. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional Bid, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond 60 days from the bid opening date unless a different period is set forth in the Contract Documents.
