Any questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to the bid deadline. Question Deadline 02/11/2025 The City reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, to accept a proposal containing variations from these specifications if the proposal so merits, to negotiate proposal with the lowest bidder prior to acceptance, and to accept partial proposals. Proposals must be submitted on the form issued by the City and must be completed (in ink) and signed accordingly. SCOPE OF WORK ***This is a three (3) part bid Scope of work #1: Upstairs Main Employee Bathrooms (Total 2 Bathrooms, 6 Stalls) o Install protective products to protect existing interior finishes. o Remove existing tile flooring, bathroom stalls, edging,sinks, countertops, mirrors and toilets as needed o Install new 8x8 neutral ceramic tile flooring, commercially rated with slip resistant surface o 1/4 inch sanded grout lines, sealed o Thin set installation o Install a transition piece from hallway into each bathroom o Installation of neutral laminated restroom stall partitions, 2 bathrooms, 2 regular stalls and 1 handicap accessible stall per bathroom o All hardware required for installation and function including locks, hinges, brackets, wall and floor mounts and any other hardware o Installation of new laminated countertops. Countertops must be caulked around the edges o Installation of new white porcelain sinks o Hook sinks back up to water supply o Replace/Install toilets as needed. Replacements must include all hardware necessary for full functionality and sealed to the floor using a wax ring or applicable substitute o Install new 5" charcoal vinyl cove base where the wall and flooring intersect o Adhere new wall mirror approximately 24" x 42" o Disposal of all materials off-site and final cleanup. Scope of work #2: Downstairs Main Employee Bathrooms (Total 2 Bathrooms, 6 Stalls) o Install protective products to protect existing interior finishes. o Remove existing tile flooring, bathroom stalls, edging, sinks, countertops, mirrors and potentially toilets as needed o Install new 8x8 neutral ceramic tile flooring, commercially rated with slip resistant surface o 1/4 inch sanded grout lines, sealed o Thin set installation o Install a transition piece from hallway into each bathroom o Installation of neutral laminated restroom stall partitions, 2 bathrooms, 2 regular stalls and 1 handicap accessible stall per bathroom o All hardware required for installation and function including locks, hinges, brackets, wall and floor mounts and any other hardware o Installation of new laminated countertops. The City of Alcoa reserves the right to waive any formality in any solicitation, to reject any or all proposals, and to accept the best proposal for the City as determined by City Officials. The City also reserves the right not to enter into any contract as a result of this RFP.
