Work Zone Traffic Control Services On-Demand The City of Topeka is seeking proposals for a contractor to provide, install and maintain Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) and restore permanent pavement markings as may be required by all City departments. The City of Topeka is seeking proposals for a Contractor to provide, install and maintain Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) and restore permanent pavement markings as may be required by all City departments. The Contractor shall supply and deploy traffic control devices for a wide range of City needs including, but not limited to, infrastructure maintenance and repair, major construction projects, overlays, street closings, public information, and utility work. In some instances, the traffic control will be for planned and/or scheduled activities. In other instances, the deployment of traffic control will be for emergency incidents or incidents such as utility line breaks where the need for deployment of traffic control is extremely urgent and requires the Contractor's immediate response and deployment of traffic control. Bid Bond Required: No Question Deadline 02/14/2025 at 12:00 PM CT The contract with the awarded Contractor resulting from this RFP shall commence upon the date of contract execution by both parties for an initial period of two (2) years. The City shall have the option to renew the agreement for three (3) additional one (1) year terms. If it is not in the best interest of the City to enter into a renewal agreement for a subsequent term, written notification will be provided to the Contractor (30) days prior to the expiration of the active agreement period. If any renewal results in changes to the terms or conditions, such changes shall be in writing as an amendment to the agreement and such amendment shall not become effective until fully executed by both parties.
