Reference Number 0000374385 The City of Port Huron is requesting bids for the supply of liquid Aluminum Sulfate for the Water Filtration Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant, for a total estimated annual supply of 430 dry tons. The product must conform to AWWA Standard B403-09 for liquid Aluminum Sulfate for use in a potable water supply. Product to be shipped F.O.B. destination to the Water Filtration Plant, 1200 Pine Grove Ave. or the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 100 Merchant Street, Port Huron, MI 48060. Receipt of deliveries shall be during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm). Additionally, please provide a written statement from your chemical or material supplier(s) stating that PFAS substances are not present in the material or chemical formulation of your product(s) and are not formed during manufacturing. Include any sample testing results to verify statement. Shipments shall conform to current D.O.T. regulations, delivered in thoroughly clean tanker trucks of 5,000 gallons. The net weight of delivered material shall not deviate by more than 2.5% (+/-) from the scale weight. Delivery equipment must be able to off load against a 15' positive head. Hoses and fitting to be supplied by transporter. The Water Filtration Plant requires trucks be sealed with security tags after truck is loaded. Terms are Net 30 days from delivery. Prices are to be based on full truckload quantities, F.O.B. destination. Availability shall be 1 to 2 days after receipt of order.
