Submission Instructions 1. Proposals must be received no later than 4:00 PM on March 1, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered. 2. Submit proposals in a sealed envelope labeled as follows: 6 RFP Title: Replacement of Intercom System for K-6 Elementary School o RFP Number: BA2025-ICS o Vendor Name 3. System Type: Proposals must specify the type of intercom system (e.g., analog, IP, radio, or Wi-Fi) and include a detailed explanation of the system's functionality and benefits. 2. System Features: Speakers in every classroom (approximately 75) and hallway (approximately 25). A head unit installed in the main office with capabilities for system-wide announcements. Administrative capability to initiate announcements remotely. Classroom-to-office communication functionality (e.g., call button or similar feature). Capability to integrate with or use an existing phone system (Ring Central) is acceptable, provided separate speakers are used for sufficient audio output in classrooms. 3. Installation and Configuration: Removal of the existing intercom system. Full installation and configuration of the new system. Testing to ensure functionality and quality. 4. Compliance: All work must comply with Pennsylvania laws and regulations, including safety and accessibility standards. 5. Training and Documentation: Provide training for administrative staff on the use of the system and deliver complete system documentation.
