**As of February 12, 2025, the project was awarded to Tresco Paving Corporation, with an awarded amount of $913,533.30.** Scope of work includes: 29,311 SY - Bituminous Milling, 2,824 Tons - 9.5mm WMA Leveling, 140 Tons -19mm Binder, 2,733 - 9.5mm WMA Wearing, 479 Tons - 25mm HMA Base and 58 Each - Snowplowable Fire Hydrant Pavement Markers. All bidders must be online pre-qualified as a prime contractor and must also meet the necessary work classification codes for the completion of the project. All bids submitted must have the contractor's valid pre-qualification certification attached or it will be rejected. A certified bank check or bond payable to North Huntingdon Township or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the OWNER, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications or any applicable statues of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for (60) sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Bidder must insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or nation origin. North Huntingdon Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates will be required on this project.
