The work for this project will consist of 2155 SY Milling 195 Tons 1%" Wearing Course (9.5 mm) 3.0 to 10.0 Million ESALs 123 SY Soft Spot Repair and 245 Tons 2" Binder Course (19 mm) 3.0 to 10.0 Million ESALs. All items are approximate quantities. Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a Certified Check or Bidders Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal in favor of Sewickley Township. No faxed Bids will be accepted. No Bid Bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans specifications or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. Sewickley Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids If any person contemplating submitting a Proposal is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Drawings, Specifications or other contract Documents, or if he finds discrepancies in or omissions from the Drawings or Specifications, he may submit a written request to the Engineer for an interpretation or correction thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery to the Engineer All requests for interpretation must be received by the Engineer at least five (5) days before the date set for bid opening.
