The City of Deer Park (City) is seeking Architectural Services for the design and renovation of two key facilities: an existing theater building and a fire station. The scope of the project include Renovation of the Existing Theater Building: The City's current theater space is shared with the municipal court. However, with the construction of a new courthouse, the court department will vacate the current building, providing an opportunity for the theater department to expand. The renovation will involve the repurposing of the vacated areas to enhance and improve the theater space. Fire Station Retrofit for Blackbox Theater: A new fire station is currently under construction, and the City intends to retrofit the existing fire station for future use as a blackbox theater and storage space. The design should accommodate the unique requirements of a performance space, while also allowing for the necessary storage functions.
