Ambler Borough Sites Including Municipal Facilities at Parking Lot #3, the Reiff's Mill "Triangle," and FEMA Lot-Tennis Avenue All Borough Parks & Recreational Facilities Including Ambler Borough Park, Jean Thompson Park & Locust Street Park Including Playing Fields at Pickering Field & Knight Park and Including Recreational Field at Ricciardi Park; and All Eleven (11) Ambler Borough Water Department Facilities Including Wells, Water Towers and Whitemarsh Treatment Plant This contract involves grass cutting, mowing, trimming, and weed whacking at all Borough sites listed to provide a neat and clean appearance to Borough properties. Shrubbery pruning and grounds seeding/weeding/feeding schedules are to be followed for Borough properties as further specified in the bid documents. The contract term shall be for three consecutive years, with an option for two additional years and the work year shall run annually from April 1 to November 30. The contractor is to provide own equipment and supplies for all operations. The contractor is required to utilize an all-natural organic turf program as specified in bid documents. Potential bidders are encouraged to familiarize themselves with Borough facilities described in bid documents. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid amount payable to the Borough of Ambler. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance. The contract shall be awarded on or about March 3, 2025 by Ambler Borough Council. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. The Borough of Ambler reserves the right to accept any or all parts of a multiple bid proposal and to require bidder to bid all items; reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever; reserves the right to eliminate any item or items from the contract; and to waive any informality in the bids.
