Secondary/Irrigation Water Meter Installation Separate sealed bids for the installation of secondary/irrigation Water Meters on a city owned irrigation system separate from the main irrigation system in Smithfield City, The Smithfield City Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the City. The Project consists of the following work: Locating existing irrigation water services in the Public Utility Easement, and excavation to the existing irrigation service line (average depth 2.5 feet). Cuting existing (non-charged) line and instaling a metr box, and the metr, then restoring thepre-installation surface. There are approximately 144 services, with 3 of those services in concrete, 42 in landscaping, and 98 in gras or lawn.
