The Project generally includes the construction of a new 59-stall parking lot with an integrated storm- water detention basin; adjoining curb, gutter, and sidewalk; and the construction of two regulation-size pickleball courts, as the initial phase of a larger park improvement effort. Future phases of the park development are anticipated but are not included in this contract. This phase includes all earthwork, paving, concrete work, post-tensioning activities, striping, drainage infrastructure, and site preparation necessary to complete the parking lot, pickleball courts, and all appurtenant and related work thereunto for its completion as to form and function. Bid security, which must be on the Bid Bond form provided with the Construction Documents or on approved Bid Bond documents provided by the Bonding Agency, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to Mendon City, shall accompany the bid. A certified cashier's check may be used for the bid bond. All questions related to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Engineer for the project, and all questions shall be in writing. For "or equal" items to be considered for evaluation, Contractor must submit information in compliance with the "Instructions to Bidders." No clarifications or questions will be answered three (3) days prior to bid date. Question Deadline 08/23/2025 Mendon City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid. Final quantities and project work portions will be dependent upon bids and the final project budgets.
