Prevailing Wage Requirements In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770, 1773 and 1773.1 of the Labor Code, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has ascertained general prevailing wage rates in the county in which the work is to be performed. The rates of prevailing wage are determined by the Department of Industrial Relations, Labor Statistics and Research. The Prevailing Wage Rages as specified by the Department of Industrial Relations are available on the DIR website at online. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026. The agreement term may change if CHP makes an award earlier than expected or if CHP cannot execute the agreement in a timely manner due to unforeseen delays. CHP reserves the right to extend the term of the resulting agreement as necessary to complete or continue the services. Agreement extensions are subject to satisfactory performance, funding availability, and possibly approval by Department of General Services (DGS). CHP reserves the right not to accept or respond to verbal questions and inquiries. Spontaneous verbal remarks provided in response to verbal inquiries are unofficial and are not binding on CHP unless later confirmed in writing.
