Cemetery Mowing The City of Asheville is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed landscape contractors with deep horticultural knowledge to successfully maintain heavily used turf areas within Riverside Cemetery. Correct horticultural practices for keeping the turf areas mowed at the proper height. Edging sidewalks adjacent to the turf areas and string trimming areas not reachable by mowing equipment. Blowing clippings from turf areas after mowing and also removing clippings from sidewalks or mulched areas. Leaf collection and removal from turf and natural areas. Extreme care must be taken to prevent damage to any monuments, headstones, or any other memorials on the property.
