ESTIMATED COST: $935,445.50 Service Set-aside: HAULING SERVICES (NIGP 96239); SODDING SERVICES (NIGP 79050) LICENSE REQUIREMENT: General Building Contractor; General Engineering; Underground Utility/ Excavation; Pipelines Engineering Contractor SCOPE OF WORK: The Project, including mobilization and demobilization, consists of furnishing and installing Approximately 1,900 linear feet of 8-inch zinc-coated ductile iron pipe and fittings for water main; two (2) resilient seated gate valves; six (6) fire hydrant assemblies with guard posts; mechanical joint restraints; fifty-three (53) 1-inch water services; making three (3) tapping connections to existing water mains including furnishing and installing tapping sleeve(s) and tapping valve(s); making one (1) connection to existing water mains; furnishing and constructing air release valve assemblies for water mains; polyethylene encasement for ductile iron pipe and fittings; sheeting and shoring ordered left in place by the Engineer; additional suitable backfill, if needed; furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for cleaning, testing, and disinfecting the water mains; furnishing and constructing reinforced concrete protective slab; removal of existing asphalt pavement, sidewalk and sod; removal, transport, and legal disposal of demolition material; traffic control; temporary and permanent replacement of any pavement, driveways, sidewalk, concrete median, curb and gutter, sod, landscaping and pavement markings damaged by the construction of the Project and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work necessary for a complete, fully functional, and satisfactory installation
