The City of Santa Barbara is inviting proposals from qualified civil engineering firms to provide hydraulic modeling, professional design services, and bid support services for the Calle Real and Castillo Trunk Line Wastewater Capacity Improvements Project (Project). The Project will address both current and future expected capacity constraints in the wastewater collection system along the San Andres trunk line. The Project consists of capacity improvements near the Calle Real/Las Positas area and along Castillo Street between Pedregosa and Haley Streets. Once complete, the Project will divert a significant amount of flow along the north side of Highway 101 to relieve system surcharging and allow the collection system to handle projected flows for the year 2050.
