Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Junction City, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The request for bids is for the demolition of the structure(s) at 1024 S Washington St. Bids shall be securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside, Demolition of 1024 S Washington St . Structure(s) located at 1024 S Washington St to Junction City, Geary County, Kansas. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Questions regarding the bids should be directed to Building and Code Enforcement at 785-210-2951. SCOPE The work to be done under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, barricades and services necessary for, and incidental to, the proper and safe demolition of all buildings on the site. The Contractor shall also be responsible for the complete removal of all debris to include existing trash, brush, limbs and scrub trees under 6" diameter from the entire lot. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits. The Contractor receiving the award for demolition of any structures covered in the contract shall have 60 days after the awards of bids to demolish said structures. If said structures are not demolished in this time this contract will be voided and the demolition will be awarded to the next lowest bidding Contractor.
