Well Redevelopment at the McLaughlin State Fish Hatchery (DFW-2025-042) located at 90 East Street, Belchertown, MA 01007 This project involves all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for redevelopment of a gravel-packed well, refurbishment of the well's existing vertical turbine pump and motor, refurbishment of the 12" Pressure Reducing Valve in the hatch house, as well as all other incidental work necessary for a complete job at the McLaughlin State Fish Hatchery, 90 East Street, Belchertown, MA. Redevelopment of the well shall be by the Aqua Freed(R) process or approved equal and shall include mechanical scrubbing, pumping and surging. All work on the well must be done between March 1, 2025 and completed no later than June 30, 2025. The estimated project value is ($65,000). All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid. Bid deposits, payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified, cashier's or treasurer's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. Minimum wage rates for this project have been predetermined by M.G.L. under Ch. 149, Sec. 26 to 27, inclusive. Proposals that do not have the Affidavit (of non- collusion, etc.) properly completed will be declared informal. Bids are subject to provisions of M.G.L. Ch. 30, Sec. 39M and Ch. 149, Secs. 44A to 44J, inclusive. The right is reserved to waive any informality in or reject any or all proposals.
