As of August 18, 2025 this project is on hold with all bids from May 25, 2025 Rebid rejected due to budget. It is unknown at this time if and when progress will resume. This project will generally consist of demolition and removal of existing marina structures and upland elements, marina dredging, installation of a replacement floating dock system with utilities, fixed steel pier extension to the existing rubble mound breakwater, boaters services building, replacement of supporting utilities, as well as miscellaneous excavation and site work. The contractor shall perform all work required for such construction including the furnishing of all engineering necessary for the layout and construction of the work, in accordance with the drawings and specifications and subjects to the terms and conditions of the Contract, complete and ready for use. The contractor shall be required to furnish and install all materials and provide labor, tools and supplies, to protect from injury any adjacent and existing structures, utilities and promptly repair all damage incurred as such. In addition, he shall restore the surface to an acceptable condition and be responsible to protect the safety of area residents.
