This notice of intent is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FARS) 5.203(a). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Indian Head, Maryland, Contracts Department posted a sources sought (N0017426SN0058) for this requirement on SAM.gov on November 5th, 2025. The sources sought closed on November 20th, 2025. The results of the sources sought concluded that there were capable small businesses that could construct this requirement. NSWC IHD, Contracts Department Code 02 intends to award this competitive procurement as a total small business set aside for the facility renovation at BXXX. BXXX is located at Indian Head, MD. The plans and drawings for this requirement are procured by the government and will be sent out with the solicitation. A brief description of what is required for this facility renovation is below: Demolition and Replacement: Removal of existing equipment, structures, roofing, and exterior landscaping, followed by the installation of new replacements. New Installations: Installation of new government-procured process equipment. General Construction: All necessary concrete, electrical, and mechanical work to complete the renovation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. A solicitation is planned to be available for this procurement and to be posted mid-to-late March.
