Renovation of a library in San Rafael, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The City of San Rafael is seeking bids from qualified vendors for furniture for the Downtown Carnegie Library. Please see the documents linked below for further details and the complete furniture package. All questions must be submitted end of day February 3rd. Bids and questions should be submitted to Facilities By Design at laura@facilitiesbydesign.com. Vendor is responsible for providing a cost for the furnishings outlined in the San Rafael Public Library Furniture Schedules Packages (Attachment A) to include installation costs. Vendor is responsible for providing a crew proficient in installation services to install all product based on the proposed layout (included in Attachments B-D Furniture Plans). Installation to be done during normal business hours at prevailing wage. Please note: Second floor has elevator access. All work for Phase 2 to be completed by late June 2025. Dates subject to change. This project will be DIR registered at prevailing wage. Please include in your proposal, a wage sheet that illustrates wages paid to various positions, breakdown of hours proposed, and project site lead contact information. Installation company awarded the contract will work directly with Facilities by Design (FBD) and the San Rafael Public Library staff to schedule site access.
