Deadline for questions -March 13, 2025 The work consists of providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide a preventative mechanical and chemical cleaning program per the Kyle Groundwater Lake Arrowhead Community Services District - Golf Course Well 5 Condition Assessment and Well Rehabilitation and Redevelopment Work Plan. The work consists of providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation and incidentals necessary to construct: Provide a preventative mechanical and chemical cleaning program per the Kyle Groundwater Lake Arrowhead Community Services District - Golf Course Well 6 Condition Assessment and Well Rehabilitation and Redevelopment Work Plan (Appendix A of these Specifications). Including the following sequential: 1. Mobilization 2. Removal of existing pumping equipment 3. Pre-rehabilitation video survey 4. Mechanical cleaning 5. Chemical cleaning (acid and biocide) 6. Chemical removal by focused intake pumping 7. Post-rehabilitation video survey 8. Interim well disinfection 9. Installation of new pumping equipment 10. Final disinfection and Bac-T testing 11. Startup testing 12. Demobilization and site cleanup The site of the work is located in: Lake Arrowhead, California All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, payable to the order of the District (Lake Arrowhead Community Services District), amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid, or by a bond in said amount and payable to said District, signed by the bidder and a Corporate Surety, or by the bidder and two sureties who shall justify before any officer, competent to administer an oath, in double said amount and over and above all statutory exemption. Said check shall be forfeited or said bond shall become payable to said District in case the bidder depositing the same does not, within ten (10) calendar days after written notice, sign the Contract. Additional bond forms are available at the District office. The Contractor will be required to furnish with the Contract a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the aggregate amount of the bid, and a labor and material bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. It has been determined that the damage sustained by the District as a result of Contractor's breach of his agreement to complete work within the time agreed upon may result in damages of $300.00 per calendar day.
