sealed bids will be received for the following: Removal and Replacement of a Rooftop Hvac Unit at the Spruce Run Administration Building 1851 State Route 31, Clinton Township, Hunterdon County The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment required by the Contract Documents for the subject project. Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds are required. This is a "Public Work" project and bidders are required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act and the New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration Act. This project requires the Contractor to obtain the appropriate building permits from the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs State Buildings Unit and may require appropriate licensure in construction, plumbing, or electrical. The Work to be done under this Contract and in accordance with these Specifications consists of furnishing all equipment, superintendence, labor, skill, material and all other items necessary for the removal of one existing HVAC rooftop unit, installation of one HVAC rooftop unit, and ancillary electrical and/or mechanical work as required. The Contractor shall perform all work required for such installation and removal in accordance with the Contract documents and subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract, complete and ready for use. The principal features of the work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: - Preparation of all necessary permits, plans, shop drawing, and specifications to submit to NJDCA for approval from structural, electrical, and mechanical as needed. - Contractor's responsibility of obtaining all NJDCA permits for this project. - Confirmation of all necessary accessories and provide such under this Contract by the Contractor. - Contractor's responsibility for the appropriate calculations for crane use for the removal and installation of the HVAC rooftop unit. - The removal and disposal of the existing 7.5-ton HVAC rooftop unit. - Furnishing and installing the appropriate curb adapter for this unit. - Modifying the existing curb as needed for this unit - The purchase and installation of an Authority approved HVAC rooftop unit. - Performance of the new HVAC rooftop unit shall be equal to or greater than the existing HVAC rooftop unit, shall include electric heat, and shall be of similar weight to the existing unit to aid DCA permitting. - Contractor to inspect the existing electrical system at the Authority as it pertains to the existing and new HVAC rooftop units. Contractor shall purchase and install an Authority approved HVAC circuit breaker if deemed necessary. - Contractor shall purchase and install new wiring from the existing electrical panel to the new HVAC rooftop unit if deemed necessary. - Contractor shall install new single programmed thermostat in Authority building. Contractor shall purchase and install new wiring from thermostat location to new HVAC rooftop unit if deemed necessary. - Integrating the new HVAC rooftop unit with the existing control panel. - Reuse of appurtenances including, ductwork, hook ups etc. - The testing, inspection and startup of the new HVAC rooftop unit, circuit breaker, wiring, and thermostat (as required), - Providing all electrical work necessary for line voltage feeds and light fixtures C.
