Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of May 23, 2025. Project was awarded to American Asphalt but awarded amount available. Project is part of Local Road Improvement Program. Project consists of fine grading and Asphalting 0.51 miles (2693 feet). Project consists of fine grading and compacting the existing base to provide a suitable base on which to pave on and laying Hot Mix Asphalt using type 4 LT 58-28 S. Pavement will be placed 20 feet in width for a total compacted thickness of 4.0 inches. Asphalting is to be done in two2-inch lifts with tack placed between the lifts. The Driveway openings shall have a 1foot asphalt approach placed at each entrance. The project is to be completed after August 1st 2025, but if the project is ready prior to August 1st 2025, The Dayton Township will notify the paving contractor. Project shall be completed by October 15th 2025. A performance bond made out to the Town of Dayton will be required. Contractor must also provide the Town of Dayton a Certificate of Insurance. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to (10%) of bid payable to the Town of Dayton. The Town of Dayton reserves the right to wave any informalities or to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to the contractor who in the judgement of the Town of Dayton will best serve the interest of the Town of Dayton.
