**As of March 17, 2025, the project was awarded to Palm Engineering Construction Company, Inc., with an awarded amount of $793,052.80.** The Leucadia Wastewater District (referred to as District or Owner) is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the Owner's Fiscal Year 2025 Gravity Pipeline Replacement Project (Project) which includes all items necessary to complete the Work in its entirety. The Work generally entails: all labor, materials, services, and equipment necessary to remove and replace existing gravity sewer mains and sewer manholes, reinstate sewer laterals, demolish and abandon existing utilities, maintain SWPPP BMPS, maintain traffic control, maintain sewer system in service, and return all disturbed areas and surfaces back to pre-construction conditions or better; and all miscellaneous work as shown, specified and directed. The Work will be located in the northern portion of the City of Encinitas, California. Bids shall be executed on the forms contained in the Contract Documents and in accordance with the instructions contained therein. Bid security, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid dollar amount, is required to be submitted with each bid. The bidder to whom the award is made will be required to furnish a payment bond and a faithful performance bond. Pursuant to Section 1771 of the California Labor Code, the successful bidder shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations.
