Construction is expected to last from July of 2026 to June of 2027. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* Classroom building addition to increase permanent student capacity to 3240 (3410 student stations), which may include laboratory spaces, resource rooms, and planning areas, in addition to general classroom spaces. Estimate: $38,460,000.00. Trades: At Risk Construction Management CMaR, CGC - *General Engineering Contractor GEC: Heavy & Civil Engineering Construction, Infrastructure; Opportunities for Subcontractors, CGC - General Building Contractor GBC: Building Construction Services, Enclosed Structures; Opportunities for Subcontractors. QUESTION DEADLINE: February 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST The School board of Orange County, Florida is interested in entering into a contract with a qualified firm to provide Construction Management at Risk services of a specified nature as outlined in the contract to be entered into, the form of said Contract can be located on the Orange County Public Schools web site, for the Cypress Creek High School Classroom Addition Project located at 1101 Bear Crossing Drive, Orlando, Florida 32824. The Construction Manager is responsible for the successful, timely, and economical completion of the construction project. The project will provide improved facilities which meet Orange County Public School's Design Guidelines. Major elements of the project include: 1. Classroom building addition to increase permanent student capacity to 3240 (3410 student stations), which may include laboratory spaces, resource rooms, and planning areas, in addition to general classroom spaces. The building addition will be connected to the existing campus systems. If deemed beneficial to the overall operation of the school, the project may include repurposing of existing spaces. 2. Site improvements and the central energy plant may need to be modified to accommodate building additions. Temporary facilities may be required to support construction phasing. The school will remain occupied during design and construction. The estimated construction cost is $38,460,000 The OCPS MWBE participation goal for this project is 23%. The OCPS LDB participation goal for this project is 10%. The OCPS VBE goal is 3%. In addition to the information provided for this requirement, additional data related to goal achievement on OCPS and non-OCPS projects may be provided to the Proposal Evaluation Committee for evaluation purposes
