Street Improvements Project Separate sealed bids marked Ò Sealed Bid for the Town of Delhi Community Development Block Grant Project for Fiscal Year 2023 to be financed by the State of Louisiana CDBG ProgramÓ will be received by the Town of Delhi for the construction of the project Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of bidderÕs maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check, cashierÕs check or a bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to obtain a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause in accordance with Louisiana R.S. 38:2214B. The Contractor shall begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This contract is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act (DOL 29 CFR Part 5), as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. The attention of Bidders is called particularly to the requirements for conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements.
