Only bidders who have obtained specifications from the Clerk will be allowed to submit bid proposals. The contract must be completed for an annual period of janitorial service and for any option period that may extend the contract Bids must be made in the standard bid form in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the job and the name and address of the bidder on the outside and addressed to the Municipal Clerk of the Borough of South Plainfield Public. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed by certified mail to 2480 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, as set forth in the Contract Documents, the right being reserved by the Borough of South Plainfield to reject all bids or any bid which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Borough, and to waive informalities.
