Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project consists of the asphalt cold milling and overlay ofselected City streets. Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashiers or certified checkup on a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the City of Jonesboro or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract to him. The notice of award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) days following the opening of bids. The successful Bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. The attention of bidders is called to the fact that no contractor s license is required to submit a bid, but successful bidder must be licensed prior to entering into a contract with the City for the project. The City of Jonesboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept the proposal deemed to be for their best interest.
