River Campus Seminary Roof Replacement Bidders are informed that the Project is subject to the requirements of Section 292.675, RSMo, which requires all contractors or subcontractors doing work on the Project to provide, and require its on-site employees to complete, a ten (10) hour course in construction safety and health approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration ("OSHA") or a similar program approved by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program. All employees who have not previously completed the program must complete the program within sixty (60) days before the date work on the Project commences. On-site employees found on the worksite without documentation of the required training shall have twenty (20) days to produce such documentation before being subject to removal from the Project. MBE 10% WBE 5% SDVE 3% No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the plans and specifications or the acceptability of alternate products, materials, form or type of construction. Every request for interpretation shall be made in writing and submitted with all supporting documents not less than seven (7) calendar days before opening of bids. The request shall be sent directly to the Consultant or the Owner when no Consultant is specified in the Supplementary Conditions. A copy of said request shall be mailed to the Director of Facilities Management Department, Southeast Missouri State University, One University Plaza, Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701. Every interpretation made to a bidder will be in the form of an addendum and will be sent as promptly as is practicable to all persons to whom plans and specifications have been issued. All such addenda shall become part of the contract documents. Bidders must comply to all statutory regulations as referred to in the specifications. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond executed by Bidder and approved Surety Company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal.
