Renovation of a library in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Town of Narragansett is soliciting proposals from qualified investors-developers to repurpose or replace the former Maury Loontjens Memorial Library building at 35 Kingstown Road, Narragansett. Repurposing or replacing the library building to provide an active and vibrant role in the Pier Village is a priority project selected by the Town as a natural next step in ensuring its value to the residents and visitors of the Town. Questions concerning the overall content of this Request for Proposals and requests for clarifications must be sent via e-mail no later than seven (7) days prior to the submission date to: Susan W. Gallagher, Purchasing Manager sgallagher@narragansettri.gov Question Deadline 02/17/2025 The Town of Narragansett reserves the right to reject any/all bids, waive any informalities in the bids received and to accept and award the bid to the lowest qualified bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the Town of Narragansett.
