Description of Project: Spartanburg County is seeking sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the demolition of structures and site clean-up at locations indicated in this solicitation. The site will be redeveloped in the future. Spartanburg County is seeking sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the abatement and demolition of structures and site clean-up located at 160 S. Church Street as indicated in this solicitation. The site will be redeveloped in the future. The vendor will demolish (raze/tear down) masonry building, surface parking lots, elevated concrete ramp and full basement that extends from the surface lot to north of the building to the surface lot to the south of the building, to include the removal of the structures themselves, removal of all debris, vegetation, slabs, foundation walls, footings, site walls, fences, etc. That information is spelled out below. NOTE that the selected Contractor will need to import fill to make up the grade to the east (toward Church St) and will also need to tie into the existing storm structure that runs under the basement of the building to provide drainage within the demolition site.
