The Sparta R-III School District is requesting Statements of Qualifications from an Architectural firm for assessment of existing facilities and district master planning for the existing PK-12 campus in Sparta, Missouri, with an emphasis on activity and athletic facilities. The School District is in Christian County. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all submittals and to waive any informality and irregularity in the qualifications and to select the firm that is in the best interest of the District and in compliance with the terms set herein. The Sparta R-III School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer and invites the submission of proposals from minority- and women-owned firms.The Sparta R-III School District is soliciting statements of quality and performance information from full service architectural firms for assessment of existing facilities and district master planning for their existing PK-12 campus in Sparta, Missouri, with an emphasis on activities and athletic facilities. The Sparta R-III School District will screen and select the most highly qualified firms from those submitted and will select the firm considered best qualified and capable of performing the proposed work. The information submitted will be evaluated against the following criteria: 1. The specialized experience and technical competence, including that of partners and associates demonstrated with related projects, ideally related to activity and athletic facilities. 2. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the tasks requested, as well as any specialized services, within the time limitations established for the completion of the project. Specific experience in dealing with potential storm water design based on existing site issues. 3. The firm's past record of performance with respect to control of costs, quality of work, design, appearance, utility and the ability to meet time schedules. 4. The firm's ability to demonstrate high levels of value to the client through best practice design, creation of quality learning environments, partnership, and incorporation of cost-effective strategies that support a safe and civil school environment. The selected Consultant will be used to assist with assessment of existing facilities, master planning, phasing, scheduling, and budgeting. Interested parties should respond to the following: Submit information outlining the Company size, location, years in business, nature of work performed, specialized experience and technical competence, including that of partners, associates and consultants, demonstrated either with the District or elsewhere, with respect to the type of services requested. Submit planning ability, efficiency and promptness of the firm(s) including the capacity and capability of the firm(s) to perform the tasks requested, as well as any specialized services, within the time limitations established for the completion of the project. Submit past record of performance of the firm(s) with respect to control of costs, quality of work, quality control, design, and ability to meet time schedules. Submit list of projects, specifically those related to master planning and PK-12 educational facilities that have been completed. Complete contact information for references on listed projects should be included. Include specific completed projects and personal resumes of key team members. Companies interested in submitting a response should NOT make personal contact with members of the School Board. Proposals will be reviewed internally, and interviews may be requested at the discretion of the School District.
