Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

The Village of Lake Zurich is requesting bids from qualified firms and/or individuals to perform utility and roadway streetscape work. A summary of major work items is described below: 1. Main Street Beautification utility work consists of the following: 180' of 12" C900 water main installation, lead service line replacements, sanitary sewer manhole replacements, sanitary sewer lining, sanitary sewer service replacements, storm sewer and structure installation, and underdrain installation. 2. Main Street Beautification road work consists of the following: Pavement removal, milling, curb removal, sidewalk removal, street lighting, concrete curb, barrier curb planters, concrete base, concrete sidewalk, brick paver walkways and crosswalks, decorative brick intersection emblem, decorative landscaping, bioswales, and sodding. 3. Whitney Road Utility Replacement work consists of the following: 1,380' of 8" PVC C900 watermain, 1,660' of 10" PVC C900 watermain, valve vaults, hydrants, water services, 2,760' of 8" sanitary sewer removal and replacement, Sanitary sewer manhole removal and replacements, 6" Sanitary Services with cleanouts, curb and sidewalk removal and replacement, and roadway reconstruction. The Village of Lake Zurich reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicality, informality or irregularity in the proposals received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional proposals or counterproposals and to hold the proposal for sixty (60) days from the opening date set forth above. The Village further reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the proposal to the most responsible bidder whose offer best responds in quality, fitness and capacity to the requirements of the proposed work or usage and therefore is in the best interest of the Village.
