Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project will be constructed under two separate bid packages, Base Bid #1: Site Work and Base Bid #2: Architecture. The work in both bid packages will be constructed simultaneously. Base Bid #1: Site Work Work will include site preparation, construction fencing, temporary soil erosion and sediment control, site removals and clearing, earthwork, utilities (water, sanitary, storm, electric and fiber), concrete paving, curbs, footings and foundations, recirculating splash pad with Life Floor tiles, amphitheater with stoneveneer columns and wall, ADA ramp with cast-in-place concrete retaining wall and handrails, baggo courts, site furnishings, native plantings, turf grass seeding, and landscaping plantings. The Village of Lake Zurich will award the contract(s) to the lowest most responsible and responsive Bidder, for each base bid, base bid plus any accepted alternates, or any combination thereof as determined by the Village of Lake Zurich to be in its best interests. In considering the Bidder responsibility, the Village of Lake Zurich may evaluate, among other factors, the ability of the Bidder to provide experienced labor sufficient in numbers to timely and properly complete the services, the financial capability of the Bidder, and the performance of the Bidder on other projects. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, of Cashier Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village of Lake Zurich. The Village of Lake Zurich reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60)days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Village of Lake Zurich.
