2025/2026 Pavement Marking Program Project Each bid must contain the name of every person, firm, or corporation interested in same and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Ohio, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, payable to the City of Euclid, as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract pursuant thereto will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The check of the successful bidder will be returned upon proper execution and securing of the contract. The checks of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned after a contract has been awarded and entered into, or upon the rejection of all bids. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the City. Bidders on this work will also be required to comply with Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code, pertaining to Wage and Hours on Public Works. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes for the project with the Project Name and Bidder contact information clearly marked on the outside. Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any irregularities in the bids and accept the bid deemed most favorable to the City. All work performed shall be in accordance with the detailed specifications, and further in accordance with the latest revised "Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, Part 3 - Pavement Markings" and the "State of Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications - "Item 641 - Pavement Marking", "Item 642 - Traffic Paint" and "Item 621 - Raised Pavement Marking". The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials and machinery necessary to perform the pavement marking, and shall perform all operations necessary to complete the work detailed in the specifications. Any labor, material, equipment or machinery not specifically mentioned herein portion of the work in a proper manner and in compliance with the requirements stated or implied by the specifications, shall be furnished by the Contractor without additional compensation.
