The City of Cleveland, Department of Public Utilities, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing services for Nottingham Filter Improvements. The City of Cleveland (City), Department of Public Utilities (DPU), Division of Water (CWD) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms, interested in providing professional services to rehabilitate and upgrade the Nottingham Filter Underdrains. This multidisciplinary project requires a team with expertise in providing structural and civil site work improvements to an existing structure at the Nottingham Water Works Plant. The attached Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to procure these services for CWD. This Request for Proposal (REP) invites proposals from experienced engineering firms for design services as described by the technical specifications, including but not limited to preliminary design, detailed design, specialized technical assistance, field services, construction bidding and award support, and construction assistance. The project includes improving the existing filter structures to incorporate new stainless-steel underdrains and appurtenances. DPU intends to award one contract, with a contract term of three years, with two, one-year options to renew. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or portions of them, to waive irregularities, informalities, and technicalities, to re-issue or to proceed to obtain the services desired otherwise, at any time or in any manner considered in the City's best interests. The Director may, at his sole discretion, modify or amend any provision of this notice or the RFP. The last day for questions is Tuesday, October 29, 2024, by 12:00 P.M.
