The Belmont Municipal Light Department is soliciting bids for Electrical Panel Upgrade. Question Deadline 02/18/2025 at 3:30 PM ET Questions concerning the terms and specifications of this RFP, must be submitted by e-mail to: Electric@BelmontLight.com Responses to any such questions will be issued as an Addendum to this RFP and will be e-mailed to all parties who have requested a copy of this RFP SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, and equipment necessary for complete and satisfactory performance to add new Electric Vehicle Chargers. 3. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: It is mandatory that the Contractor be able to meet the following requirements: o Have regularly and actively engaged in electrical panel upgrades operating under the same business name and business organization structure for a minimum of five (5) years. o Completed at least two similar contracts in the past five (5) years. o Provide at least three (3) references that are satisfactory and will serve to illustrate the ability of your firm to act as the primary contractor to accomplish electrical panel upgrade in accordance with the specifications. o Each employee assigned to work at Belmont Light must be qualified to perform this work including, as a minimum, NESC Certification. Provide new electrical infrastructure for new Electric Vehicle Chargers: Install a new 400 amp, 3phase, 120/208v service. Provide and install 4" conduit mounted on the side of the building for new service. Provide and install a new 400 amp, 3phase, 120/208v Shunt trip, 42 circuit Panel. Provide and install, 10, 2pole 50 amp breaker and 3, 3 pole 100 amp breaker's. Replace existing 400 amp. 3 phase disconnect located inside the main electrical room with a new 400 amp, 3phase Shunt trip breaker. Tie existing and new service for emergency shut down. Provide 10, 50 amp, 220v circuits for electric boom truck's inside the garage. Provide and install 10, 50 amp, 220v motorized cord reels. Provide 3, 100 amp, 3 phase circuits for 3 dual chargers for 6 employee parking spots in front of the building. Provide trenching, sand and back fill for underground conduit. Provide concrete bases for 3 EV chargers. Quote includes all labor, materials, lift rental and permit fees.
