Site work and paving for a civil project in Belmont, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Furnish and install approximately 700 lf of drain pipe and fittings. Work shall include excavation, trenching, pipe installation, backfill, and pavement replacement. Estimated Cost $50,000 - $100,000. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The pipe in question being installed is an 8 inch (8") diameter HDPE, perforated pipe, with additional details, specifications and requirements as indicated in the Bid Package. Trench depth requirement is that necessary to install pipe in trench in accordance with the details and specifications and depth and dimensional requirements herein. Prior to installation, trench shall be lined with a filter fabric consistent with MassDOT Material specification M9.50.0 Installation of pipe shall be such that invert of pipe is at a depth 36" below finished grade of road pavement and in accordance with manufacturer technical notes and installation guidance; including proper bedding, backfilling, compaction and haunch preparations.
