Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The estimated cost of these services will be between $10,000 & $20,000 Contractor shall install the complete system as detailed in the "Install Flashing Beacon" Plan Set including 7 sheets. Installation shall conform to MUTCD and ADA requirements. Contractor shall also adhere to the following: 1. The work under this request shall consist of furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, materials and services required to replace a vehicle loop detection system. 2. Contractor shall determine a schedule of work with Belmont Police Department and ensure a Traffic Safety Detail will be provided. 3. Work must be scheduled a minimum of 72-Hours in advance. 4. Contractor shall coordinate with BPD & DPW to determine suitable work hours. Work hours may be reduced and required to be performed outside time frame of anticipated peak traffic volume to minimize impacts. DPW to post notice of work on Town Web Page. 5. All work must be performed in accordance with Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws. 6. The Town of Belmont is a tax-exempt institution and will provide the necessary Form ST-2 if requested.
