University Village A (UVA) is a 67 unit - 3 story complex consisting of 62 - 4 bedroom apartments, 4 - 1 bedroom RA apartment, and 1 -3 room apartment. There is a common area configuration on each level of the complex. All units are accessed from common exterior hallways. Each apartment suites have an existing single 2 1/2 ton heat pump system. A wall mounted air handler and coil assembly are located in the interior hallway of each apartment suite. Exterior condensers are located at ground level outside and below each apartment. Each common space has two existing 2-ton heat pump system. A ceiling mounted air-handler/ coil assembly located at each end of the common area. Exterior condensers are located at ground level outside and below the commons. Rogers State University shall have the right to reject any or all bids and solicit contractors again as herein provided if the best interests of the people of the State of Oklahoma would be best served by so doing. Further, the University reserves the right to award on an all or none basis, by item or groups of items in order to achieve the overall lowest cost. A bidder on public construction contract exceeding fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) shall accompany the bid with: A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, which shall be deposited with Rogers State University As a guaranty. Unless otherwise provided in State law, the successful bidder shall furnish an assurance of completion prior to the execution of any contract under this solicitation in the form of a performance, payment, and defect bond in a penal sum of 100 percent of the contract price; or, as may be required or permitted by State law; Project Timeline: 1. HVAC Replacement will begin on or after May 13th, 2025. 2. All work is to be completed no later than July 12th, 2025. 3. Coordination of all work will be outlined prior to the start of all work. 4. Contractor to submit construction schedule.
