Performance and Labor and Material Bonds will be provided upon award. Familial and Iranian Disclosure Statements must be submitted with bid proposal. Bids shall remain firm for acceptance for a period of 60 days. Alpena Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids. Alpena Public Schools is accepting sealed bids for Asbestos Abatement services at and Alpena High School in preparation for Summer 2025 renovations. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid packet. All bidders must provide familial disclosure in compliance with MCL 380.1267 and attach this information to the bid proposal. All bidders must disclose any relationship with any Iranian Company in compliance with Act No. 517 and attach this information to the bid. Alpena Public Schools will not accept a bid proposal that does not include these sworn and notarized disclosure statements. Proposals must include a bid bond or certified check made payable to Alpena Public Schools for not less than 5% of the contract and must be submitted on the bid proposal form furnished with the specifications. All proposals will remain firm for a period of 60 days and provide performance/labor and material bonds upon award.
