Site work for a civil project in Clarion, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Nutrient Reduction Wetland Project Section 31, Township 91 North, Range 24 West Wright County, Iowa In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation and grading, , riprap placement, and seeding. This project includes around 9,500 cubic yards of earthwork, 6,950 square yards of rolled erosion control mat, 1,100 linear feet of straw wattle placement, 143 tons of riprap along with 45 tons of macadam stone and 4.5 acres of seeding. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and irregularities.
