Renovation of a mixed-use development in Clarion, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics intends to retain the services of a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) for interior renovation projects at their Clarion facility. As such, they are initially requesting Qualification Statements from qualified firms to determine which firms will be offered the opportunity to submit their proposed fees for the project. To properly evaluate each CMaR firm, and in accordance with Iowa state law, Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics will select the firm that offers the best value based on the criteria listed below and the ranking of each firm as it relates to the selection criteria: o Firm Profile and Background o Applicable Project Experience, Qualifications, and References o Familiarity with the facility o Project Team & Company Structure o Proposed Management Process o Safety Record & Internal Safety Program o Proposed Fees (to be provided in RFP issued to qualified firms) Qualification Statements Due - July 28, 2025, 2:00 p.m. local time Design work is currently at the end of the Schematic Design phase. Construction is intended to begin November 2025 and be completed in April 2026. The Construction budget is currently set at $1,350,000.
