Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of restoration of the plaza ground surfaces and pergola feature at Bridgwater Forest Fountain. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Foundation and structural work for the reinstatement of the existing pergola pillar (b) Reinstatement of the overhead pergola section with new wood panel members (c) New concrete surface at entrances omitting the unit paver inlay (d) Reset of existing unit paver surfaces (e) Replace sections of damaged concrete curb (f) Repair or replacement of asphalt for level transition at entrances (g) Site restoration as required to complete work The funds available for this contract are $80,000. If the Contract Price exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), the Contractor shall provide and maintain contract security until the expiration of the warranty period in the form of: (a) a performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, Form H1 Performance Bond, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and (b) a labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, Form H2 Labour and Material Bond, in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; or (c) an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a bank or other financial institution registered to conduct business in Manitoba and drawn on a branch located in Winnipeg, Form H3 Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; or (d) a certified cheque or draft payable to "The City of Winnipeg", drawn on a bank or other financial institution registered to conduct business in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
