The new VSF shall be a 4,840 square foot pre-engineered metal building (PEMB). The VSF will contain an administration area (840 sf) and four 20'-0" x 50'-0" bays used to store CDOT plow trucks, two of which shall be wash bays with waterproofed finishes and fixtures. The flooring shall be concrete slab-on-grade with a 20-foot concrete apron at the overhead doors. The project will also include site utility connections, as well as civil work such as grading, paving, concrete flatwork, site work, and a concrete sand filter with under-drain for storm water management. The site is served by the following utility providers: natural gas is provided by XCEL. Electric power is provided by United Power. A new water well has been drilled in the NW corner of the property, awaiting connection to the new building under this contract. (The existing VSF is on a separate well, which will be decommissioned when the VSF is demolished by CDOT under a separate contract.) All piping from the new well, storage tank, fittings, connections, pumps and wiring required for the water system is included in this contract.
