Renovation of a detention facility in Beaumont, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

FCC Beaumont is a Correctional Complex with a rated capacity of 4,146 inmates. Security levels range from minimum security to high security. The complex includes a United States Penitentiary (USP), Federal Correctional Institution Medium (FCIM), Federal Correctional Institution Low (FCIL) and a Satellite Camp Prison (SCP). The first institution was activated in 1996 and the final activation occurred in 1999. 1) Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of all material and equipment that is removed. 2) Contractor will provide all labor and material to replace Cross Flow Fill Media with Integral Air Inlet Louvers and Integral Drift Eliminators in a Marley NC Series Cooling Tower SN; NC904155/65315-002. Material and equipment also to be replaced and installed: a. Gear box - Must be equivalent to Marley 2200 series, 4.56:1 ratio, CC2 Shaft b. Motor-Must be equivalent to Baldor 60HP, 460V, 1800RPM, Frame 404T, Cont. Duty, Heavy Duty Cooling Tower rated c. Variable Frequency Drive - Must be equivalent to ABB ACH580-VDR-077A-4: 60HP drive with bypass. d. Fiberglass fan shroud - Lower GRP Fan Cylinder with stainless replacement hardware. e. Galvanized fan screen with stainless replacement hardware f. Marley Short Stem Target Nozzles g. Vibration Switch equivalent to Murphy VS2EX 3) Contractor will perform a start-up of the equipment and ensure equipment operates as designed prior to the close of the project. 4) Contractor will provide Service Manuals to ensure proper maintenance is conducted on the equipment. 5) Contractor will provide Operator Manuals to ensure proper operation of the equipment. 6) Contractor will remove all construction debris, and legally dispose of off-site. Do not burn or bury on site. The project shall comply with all appropriate State and Federal codes and regulations, including the latest editions of the International Building Code, International Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code, National Electrical Code (NFPA 70), Life Safety Code (NFPA 101), applicable NFPA standards, and environmental regulations. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
