As per March 11, 2025 Project has been awarded to 7 Summits Roofing but no awarded amount The Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife is accepting sealed bids for remove existing roof down to deck and install new insulation, roof board, membrane, gutters, downspouts and all required flashing with an edge to edge, no dollar limit, 20 year warranty. All questions related to the project shall be submitted via e-mail to the Project Manager, Eric Stahnke at eric.stahnke@state.co.us. The deadline for questions is February 20, 2025 at 5:00 PM. The following descriptions delineate the Work, materials, and how measurements of completed Work will be made and paid for, for each bid item in the Bid Schedule. The Bidder is to read these definitions and price their proposal accordingly. Bid Item 1 - Mobilization This bid item includes the mobilization of personnel, equipment and supplies at the project site in preparation for the Work, as well as the establishment and maintenance for the duration of the Contract of the Contractor's sanitary facilities, protective fencing and barricades not included elsewhere, necessary facilities, and all other costs incurred or labor and operations which must be performed prior to beginning the other items under the Contract. This item shall include any costs for required bonding of this project. This item shall also include marshalling, disassembly and security of all items indicated on the Construction Drawings or Specifications or installed as part of mobilization and demobilization from the site. Payment will be made in a lump sum in two installments: the first 60% will be paid on the first month's pay estimate, and the remaining 40% after the final cleanup has been completed and approved. As a footnote to the bid items, the following items have NOT been included as specific pay items and ARE to be considered incidental to the construction for which they are required: o Testing o Manufacturer inspections o Submittal and shop drawing preparation o Water, watering, and dust control o Dewatering o Temporary facilities and utilities o Traffic control o Barricades and other required safety provisions o Permits and inspections Bid Item #2 - Remove existing ballast, built up roofing, insulation, metal trim, etc. This bid item includes the removal and disposal of all existing roof material, down to the concrete deck, including all trim, gutters, etc., required to install the new roof system. This bid item will be measured and paid per lump sum (LS), per bid schedule unit price. Bid Item #3 - Furnish & Install polyiso insulation, including required crickets, to provide positive drainage to scuppers and gutters. This bid item includes furnishing and installing Polyisocyanurate insulation. This bid item also includes the design and installation of required crickets and sloping of insulation to ensure proper drainage of the roof. Insulation plan shall be approved by the roof membrane manufacturer and submitted to the Project Manager for review. This bid item will be measured and paid per lump sum (LS), per bid schedule unit price.
